South Carolina High School Volleyball - Eastside tips St. James

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Eastside Eagles (Taylors, SC) and the visiting St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC), saw Eastside's volleyball squad nip St. James by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Eastside upgrades its record to 4-8 on the year. The Eagles host Mauldin (Mauldin, SC) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Mauldin lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC)
The Sharks now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Carolina Forest for a bout on Wednesday, September 20. St. James will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 17-3.
