The Kohala Cowboys football team (Kapaau, HI), was tipped 14-13 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Pahoa Daggers (Pahoa, HI)
The Daggers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hawaii Prep (Kamuela, HI). The Ka Makani come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Hawaii Prep was tipped by Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI), 49-0, in a league challenge.
The Cowboys now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ka'u for a Big Island II challenge on Saturday, September 23. Kohala will meet a Trojans team coming off a 44-6 league loss to Honoka'a (Honoka'a, HI). The Trojans record now stands at 1-4.
