The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) and the visiting Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA), saw Granada's volleyball squad beat Las Lomas by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Granada upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Matadors host Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Castro Valley won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA)

The Knights now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Miramonte for a bout on Tuesday, September 19. Las Lomas will play a Matadors squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 1-3.
