Baker/Powder Valley Bulldogs (Baker City, OR) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Payette Pirates (Payette, ID), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the La Grande Tigers (La Grande, OR) in a 4A Greater Oregon challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Baker/Powder Valley will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Fruitland (Fruitland, ID).

The Pirates now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Fruitland for a 3A District III challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Payette will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to La Grande (La Grande, OR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 7-2.
