The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY) and the host Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY), saw Barren County's soccer squad get by Taylor County by a count of 1-0.
The Trojans now hold a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Monroe County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 19. Barren County will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Falcons record now stands at 3-9.
With the loss, Taylor County drops to 4-9 on the season. The Cardinals host John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 20. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 5-7.
