Next, the Pioneers confront the Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR) in a 3A/2A/1A-SD5 Special District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. McLoughlin will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 4-1 league win over Umatilla (Umatilla, OR).

The Vikings now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nyssa for a 3A/2A/1A-SD5 Special District 5 challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Umatilla will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-0 league win over Irrigon (Irrigon, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.
