In Saturday's non-league contest, the Oxford Academy Patriots (Cypress, CA) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Garden Grove Argonauts (Garden Grove, CA), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the Patriots battle the Whitney Wildcats (Cerritos, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, September 19. Oxford Academy will attempt to better on its 16-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over California Academy of Math & Science (Carson, CA).
With the loss, Garden Grove moves to 2-1 on the year.
