With the win, Great Bridge upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 20. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Grassfield won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA)

The Bruins now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Indian River for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. Western Branch will play a Braves squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Braves record now stands at 1-4.
