The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Mt. Zion Braves (Mt. Zion, IL) and the visiting Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL), saw Mt. Zion's volleyball squad beat Maroa-Forsyth by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Mt. Zion upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Braves travel to Meridian (Macon, IL) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 7-3.

The Trojans now own a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to New Berlin for a bout on Tuesday, September 19.
