California High School Volleyball - Whitney can't hold off Oak Ridge

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Oak Ridge Trojans volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Whitney Wildcats.
The Trojans (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Pleasant Grove was edged by St. Francis (Sacramento, CA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Wildcats encounter the Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA) in a battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Whitney will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the battle with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to St. Francis (Sacramento, CA).
