The Rancho Cotate Cougars topped the visiting Petaluma Trojans volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cloverdale for a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. Rancho Cotate will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 league win over Middletown (Middletown, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.

The Trojans (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Las Lomas was knocked off by Acalanes (Lafayette, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
