Illinois High School Soccer - Westlake Christian Academy nudges Lake County Baptist

Westlake Christian Academy Eagles (Grayslake, IL) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Lake County Baptist Lions (Waukegan, IL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Schaumburg Christian Conquerors (Schaumburg, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Westlake Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Conquerors enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 8-2 league win over South Beloit (South Beloit, IL).

The Lions now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marquette Manor Baptist Academy for a Illinois Association of Christian Schools challenge on Monday, September 25.
