Marsh Valley Eagles (Arimo, ID) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting South Fremont Cougars (St. Anthony, ID), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles face the Teton Timberwolves (Driggs, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 23. Marsh Valley will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record.

The Cougars now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Sugar-Salem for a 3A District VI challenge on Tuesday, September 19. South Fremont will face a Diggers team coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Snake River (Blackfoot, ID). The Diggers record now stands at 8-0.
