Woonsocket Villa Novans (Woonsocket, RI) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI), 4-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Villa Novans confront the Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI) in a Division 4 challenge, on Monday, September 18. Woonsocket will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Kilties enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Rogers (Newport, RI).

The Vikings now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blackstone Valley Prep for a Division 4 challenge on Thursday, September 21.
