The Sugar-Salem Diggers smashed the visiting Snake River Panthers soccer squad by a margin of 16-1 in Saturday's non-league match.
The Diggers now sport a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to South Fremont for a 3A District VI match on Tuesday, September 19. Sugar-Salem will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Marsh Valley (Arimo, ID). The Cougars record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Snake River drops to 1-10 on the season. The Panthers host Aberdeen (Aberdeen, ID) to encounter the Tigers in a 3A District V match on Thursday, September 21. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 3-4. Aberdeen won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against South Fremont (St. Anthony, ID)
