The Guthrie Bluejays softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Claremore Zebras to 1 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Guthrie improves its record to 17-7 on the year. The Bluejays travel to Piedmont (Piedmont, OK) to clash with the Wildcats in a 5A District 2 game on Saturday, September 16. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 20-3. Piedmont won 9-8 in their recent non-league game against Elgin (Elgin, OK)

In their next game, the Zebras clash with the Sapulpa Chieftains (Sapulpa, OK) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 18. Claremore will attempt to improve on its 14-14 season record. The Chieftains come into the game with a 10-14 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Glenpool (Glenpool, OK).
