Nebraska High School Softball - Elkhorn South bounces Marian

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE) and the visiting Marian Crusaders (Omaha, NE), witnessed Elkhorn South's softball squad prevail over Marian by a count of 13-1.

The Storm now sport a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Gretna for a A District match on Tuesday, September 19. Elkhorn South will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Lincoln North Star (Lincoln, NE). The Dragons record now stands at 20-1.

With the loss, Marian moves to 8-10 on the season. The Crusaders host Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE) to meet the Monarchs in a A District match on Tuesday, September 19. The Monarchs go into the match with a record of 16-5.
