Pine Creek Eagles (Colorado Springs, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Widefield Gladiators (Colorado Springs, CO), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they host Vista Ridge for a 5A/4A CSML challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Pine Creek will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Chatfield (Littleton, CO). The Wolves record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Widefield falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Canon City (Canon City, CO) to battle the Tigers in a 4A/3A CSML South challenge on Tuesday, September 19. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 2-13. Canon City won 19-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Palmer (Colorado Springs, CO)
