The Central Chargers volleyball team (Macon, GA), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA)

The Gryphons (17-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Rutland (Macon, GA). The Hurricanes enter the 2A Area 1 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Rutland was dropped by Jackson (Jackson, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chargers meet the Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) in a 2A Area 1 challenge, on Saturday, September 16. Central will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 2-0 league win over Southwest (Macon, GA).
