The Crosby-Ironton Rangers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Aitkin Gobblers to 1 in the Rangers league victory on Saturday.
The Rangers now have a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Upsala for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. Crosby-Ironton will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Swanville (Swanville, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-5.
The Gobblers (2-6) will now prepare for their game against East Central (Sandstone, MN). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, East Central nipped Northland (Remer, MN), 3-2, in a non-league game.
