Iowa High School Volleyball - Algona can't hold off Lake Mills

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Lake Mills Bulldogs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Algona Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs (16-4) will now prepare for their battle against Central Springs (Manly, IA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Central Springs nudged Rockford (Rockford, IA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Algona will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The come into the battle with a 8-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Central Springs (Manly, IA).
