Augusta Southeastern Suns (Augusta, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host New Berlin Pretzels (New Berlin, IL), 2-1 in a non-league game.

The Suns now have a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mendon Unity for a West Central - North game on Monday, September 18. Augusta Southeastern will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-5.

The Pretzels (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL). The Trojans enter the Sangamo game with a 2-13 record. In their last game, Maroa-Forsyth was nudged by Eastland (Lanark, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
