The Ballard Bombers volleyball team (Huxley, IA), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Pella Dutch (Pella, IA)
The Dutch (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against North Polk (Alleman, IA). The Comets enter the non-league challenge with a 18-4 record. In their last challenge, North Polk defeated Gilbert (Gilbert, IA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Bombers meet the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA) in a Raccoon River challenge, on Monday, September 18. Ballard will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record.
