Kentucky High School Volleyball - Highlands edged by Boyd County

The Boyd County Lions held off the host Highlands Bluebirds volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lions now have a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beechwood for a non-league test on Sunday, September 17. Boyd County will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Conner (Hebron, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 13-9.

The Bluebirds (12-11) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 16-7 record.
