The Live Oak Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.

The Eagles now have a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catholic of Pointe Coupee for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. Live Oak will meet a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mentorship Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-1.

The Hornets (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA). The Rebels enter the non-league game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Riverside Academy dropped by Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
