Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Chestnut Ridge tips Central

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA) and the host Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA), saw Chestnut Ridge's volleyball squad nip Central by a tally of 1-0.

With the win, Chestnut Ridge upgrades its record to 8-8 on the year. The Lions travel to Richland (Johnstown, PA) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Richland lost 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA)

The Dragons now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Bishop Carroll for a Laurel Highlands 2 bout on Tuesday, September 19. Central will play a Huskies squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Clearfield (Clearfield, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 4-1.
