The Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit Lions held off the visiting San Jose Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yerba Buena for a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit will confront a Aztec Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA). The Aztec Warriors record now stands at 2-6.
The Bulldogs (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Gilroy (Gilroy, CA). The Mustangs enter the BVAL - West Valley test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Gilroy was nudged by Del Mar (San Jose, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
