The West Liberty Comets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Davenport North Wildcats to 0 in the Comets non-league victory on Saturday.

The Comets now have a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moline for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. West Liberty will meet a Maroons team coming off a 2-1 league win over Geneseo (Geneseo, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 4-5.

The Wildcats (7-10) will now prepare for their game against Muscatine (Muscatine, IA). The Muskies enter the Mississippi game with a 8-4 record. In their last game, Muscatine gained a win over Washington (Washington, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
