In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Sequoyah Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Dewey Bulldoggers.
The Eagles (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Canadian (Canadian, OK). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Canadian lost by Hulbert (Hulbert, OK), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldoggers encounter the Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK) in a Will Rogers battle, on Monday, September 18. Dewey will attempt to advance on its 0-11 season record. The Pirates come into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Central (Tulsa, OK).
