In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Doyle Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Springfield Bulldogs.

The Tigers (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Covenant Christian Academy achieved victory over Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Loranger Wolves (Loranger, LA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 16. Springfield will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record. The Wolves come into the battle with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Central Private (Baker, LA).
