Indiana High School Volleyball - Hammond Central nudged by Whiting

The Hammond Central Wolves volleyball team (Hammond, IN), was nudged 1-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN)

The Oilers (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against North Newton (Morocco, IN). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 4-12 record. In their last challenge, North Newton was nudged by Frontier (Chalmers, IN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolves encounter the River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 18. Hammond Central will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Ingots enter the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN).
