Next up, the Panthers battle the Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA) in a 6A Area 8 match, on Monday, September 18. Jackson County will attempt to better on its 23-5 season record. The Red Elephants come into the match with a 11-12 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Chestatee (Gainesville, GA).

With the loss, Sequoyah drops to 13-11 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to River Ridge (Woodstock, GA) to battle the Knights in a 6A Area 6 match on Tuesday, September 26. The Knights come into the match with a record of 20-7. River Ridge lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Lovett (Atlanta, GA)
