The Monticello Panthers prevailed the host Jesup J-Hawks volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Panthers now have a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Cedar for a River Valley North test on Saturday, September 16. Monticello will confront a Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA). The Knights record now stands at 6-6.

The J-Hawks (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Union (La Porte City, IA). The Knights enter the North Iowa Cedar - East test with a 16-4 record. In their last test, Union gained a win over Mason City (Mason City, IA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
