The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA), saw Lincoln's volleyball squad nip Westmont by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 4-9 on the year. The Lions travel to Pioneer (San Jose, CA) to play the Mustangs in a BVAL - Santa Teresa West bout on Wednesday, September 20. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Pioneer won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA)

The Warriors now own a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Branham for a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton bout on Tuesday, September 19. Westmont will play a Bruins squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 7-3.
