Illinois High School Volleyball - Lyons tips Sandburg

September 16, 2023: LaGrange, IL 60525

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) and the visiting Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL), saw Lyons's volleyball squad nip Sandburg by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Lyons upgrades its record to 15-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Proviso West (Hillside, IL) to play the Panthers in a West Suburban- Silver bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-15. Proviso West lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL)

The Eagles now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Bradley-Bourbonnais for a SouthWest Suburban bout on Thursday, September 21.
