The Sutherland Sailors volleyball team (Sutherland, NE), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE)

The Wildcats (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sutherland (Sutherland, NE). The Sailors enter the non-league challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Sutherland nipped Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] (Eustis, NE), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Sailors encounter the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers (Benkelman, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 16. Sutherland will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Cheylin (Bird City, KS).
