Alabama High School Volleyball - Sulligent South Lamar

The Sulligent Blue Devils volleyball team (Sulligent, AL), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL)

The Stallions (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pickens County (Reform, AL). The Tornadoes come into the 1A Area 9 battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Pickens County lost by Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Blue Devils clash with the Red Bay Tigers (Red Bay, AL) in a 2A Area 11 battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Sulligent will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 12-11 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS).
