In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Travelers Rest Devildogs volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Riverside Warriors.

The Devildogs (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC). The Generals come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Wade Hampton was nudged by Eastside (Taylors, SC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Boiling Springs Bulldogs (Spartanburg, SC) in a challenge, on Wednesday, September 18. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC).
