Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Justice (Falls Church, VA). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Justice edged Annandale (Annandale, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Atoms meet the Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 23. Annandale will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-1 league loss to Hayfield (Alexandria, VA).
