With the win, Wheatland advances its record to 5-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Oakmont (Roseville, CA) to play the Vikings in a Pioneer Valley League battle on Wednesday, September 18. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 2-6. Oakmont lost 40-0 in their recent non-league battle against Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA)

The Cougars now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Mira Loma for a Pioneer Valley League battle on Wednesday, September 18. Center will play a Matadors team coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 2-8.
