California High School Flag Football - Foothill loses to Esperanza

September 16, 2024: Anaheim, CA 92807

Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) followers went home pleased Monday as they saw their flag football team gain a win over the visiting Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA), 35-19 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Esperanza advances its record to 8-6 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA) to play the Falcons in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 21. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 5-4. Torrey Pines won 14-6 in their recent non-league battle against San Marcos (San Marcos, CA)

The Knights now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Cypress for a battle on Wednesday, September 18. Foothill will play a Centurions team coming off a 33-14 non-league win over El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Centurions record now stands at 7-1.
