Egg Harbor Township Eagles (Egg Harbor Township, NJ) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Vineland Fighting Clan (Vineland, NJ), 8-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Egg Harbor Township advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, September 20. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-3. Middle Township lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ)

The Fighting Clan now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Spirit for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Vineland will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Our Lady of Mercy Academy (Newfield, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 0-4.
