In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Gates Chili Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Irondequoit Eagles.

The Spartans (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Churchville-Chili (Churchville, NY). The Saints go into the Monroe - Division III outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Churchville-Chili was edged by Spencerport (Spencerport, NY), 3-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Canandaigua Academy Braves (Canandaigua, NY) in a Monroe - Division II outing, on Wednesday, September 18. Irondequoit will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Braves go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 5-1 league loss to Brighton (Rochester, NY).
