In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Pikeville Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Letcher County Central Cougars / Lady Cougars.

The Panthers (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Belfry (Belfry, KY). The Pirates go into the District 57 outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Belfry was edged by Russell (Russell, KY), 8-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Cougars / Lady Cougars confront the Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY) in a District 53 outing, on Thursday, September 19. Letcher County Central will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
