In Monday's league contest, the St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY) soccer team edged the host Nardin Academy Gators (Buffalo, NY), by a count of 3-2.
Next, the Lancers battle the Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY) in a Monsignor Martin contest, on Friday, September 20. St. Mary's will attempt to upgrade on its 6-0 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 4-0 non-league win over McDowell (Erie, PA).
The Gators (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart Academy (Buffalo, NY). The Sharks enter the Monsignor Martin contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Sacred Heart Academy was nipped by Wilson (Wilson, NY), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
