Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY), 8-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Somerset advances its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Briar Jumpers host Casey County (Liberty, KY) to clash with the Rebels in a District 47 test on Tuesday, September 17. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 2-8. Casey County lost 7-1 in their recent non-league test against Wayne County (Monticello, KY)

The Rockets now have a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pulaski County for a District 47 test on Thursday, September 19. Rockcastle County will clash with a Maroons team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Berea (Berea, KY). The Maroons record now stands at 6-4.
