The Paul VI Panthers edged the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Monday's league game.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 20. Paul VI will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.
The Mustangs (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Bishop O'Connell nudged St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD), 2-0, in a non-league game.
