In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting South Caldwell Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Freedom Patriots.
The Spartans (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 1-8 record.
Next, the Patriots meet the Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 18. Freedom will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hibriten (Lenoir, NC).
