Northeastern Clinton Cougars (Champlain, NY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY), 6-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Northeastern Clinton moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Franklin Academy (Malone, NY) to meet the Huskies in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 18. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 1-2. Franklin Academy won 3-0 in their recent league test against Gouverneur (Gouverneur, NY)

The Patriots now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Seton Catholic Central for a Northern test on Wednesday, September 18. AuSable Valley will meet a Knights team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
