In Monday's league outing, the visiting East Rutherford Cavaliers soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Chase Trojans.

The Cavaliers (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers enter the Mountain Foothills Seven 2A outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Patton was edged by Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 3-2, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Trojans confront the Hendersonville Bearcats (Hendersonville, NC) in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A outing, on Wednesday, September 18. Chase will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Bearcats enter the outing with a 3-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Polk County (Columbus, NC).
